The Frozen Valley

Ocean scented the air, her mate not far off, but she was to hungry to try and find him at the moment.She turned her sense of smell to the north where she could smell a sick baby deer.A growl escaped her maw and she lowered her silhouette to the ground, her sharp ocean blue crystals scanning the area.Her odd markings did not blend in very well with her surroundings but she was quick and very agile.This meant she could quickly attack her prey if they saw her.

Ocean crept closer, still unnoticed by the sick baby deer the wind direction blowing away from her, causing her scent to drift away from the baby deer. Long podiums then sprang forward when she was close enough pouncing onto the baby deer killing it with one sharp bite to the neck.Her maw than sunk round the deer, slowly enjoying the meaty meal.

Ocean watched as her mate came closer, her muzzle nuzzling into her mate.She looked up at the sky which was painted with different colours.Her eyes could just see a small glow above the horizon where the sun was slowly making its way up.She flollowed her mate, her paws making a slight crunch as she walked forward.Her thick coat kept her warm as she flicked her tail, making small snow flakes fall from the sky onto the ground.

Ocean was naturally gifted with her powers, it was what her birth pack specialised in.They all had the same sort of powers but Ocean had the most powerful.

"So what I you want to do?"

Ocean asked her mate, looking around at the large terratory they had.

Hikari walked carefully through the frozen valley. He smelt many prey but wasnt interested int them. He picked up speed and his blue tail swished from side to side. He soon came up to what looked like a den. He sniffed the air and smelled other wolves but didnt recognize any. He huffed once and looked on with his silver eyes. He would just have to wait he thought to himself.

Ocean glanced around, her nose soon picking up on the scent of an unknow wolf.His scent told her this wolf was male but she our not tell anything else.She turned to her mate unhappy that she would have to leave him to check out this stranger.

"There is a new wolf around, I am gonna go see who he is"

Ocean then trotted off to the direction of this new wolf who soon came into view.The first thing Ocean noticed was that ths other wolf was blue.A blue wolf?She ad never heard of such a thing although no one in the packs was entirely normal.

Ocean walked up to ths wolf, a friendly smile on her face but also had a quite high ranking posture.

"H I am ocean, Kahu of the Frozen valley pack, what are you doing here?"

She asked politely.

Hikari soon spotted another wolf and by the scent could tell the wolf was female. He sat down as she approached him. She was friendly when she spoke but he guessed she was high ranked by her posture.

"Im Hikari. and i was hoping to join the Frozen Valley pack." He said kindly but with his head held neutrally.

"hmmmmm..."

Ocean said scanning this wolf with curious eyes.She could sense good things about this wolf and was willing to let him into the pack.She shook her pelt, then flickering her tail making it snow slightly.

Ocean hated being to warm, her birth tribe lived in the north pole, it was always cold and never warm so making snow kept her cool.

"You may join as long as your intentions are good"

Hikari smiled at her response. "My intentions are good" he said carefully. he swished his tail in excitement but then looked around curiously.

Ocean smiled warmly, turning the slight snow fall into a drizzle of rain.

"Follow me, just to warn you our pack is certainly not the biggest really it's just you me and my mate.However we are one of the strongest and swiftest."

Ocean said turning her head back to face this new wolf as she walked forward towards the den.

"If you want you can dig your own den,or use one of the empty ones.Its just so that when winter comes you have somewhere warm to go."

She said with a smile turning her head back forward as they returned back to the den.

Oblitus walked into the clearing, he was tense, this was not his cup of tea in fact if he thought he could survive the winter without a pack he wouldn't even be here. he was more nervous on how he would be taken with his guttural raspy voice, it had made others turn him away and there was no way would he go through that again. he had bypass the other packs, they did not  met his needs or wants and he had this feeling that he would find some very high grade ore in the valley.  he would feel better if he had the tools of his trade with him but those were lost in the attack. He look over his shoulder making sure no one was behind him. A scent in the air told him that there were other wolves around two males and a female. "well, I guess it's time to introduce myself" he braced himself for the likelihood of him have to fight his way out.

As ocean returned to the den she sensed anouther wolf near by.Suddenly this pack was growing which was good but also a risky buisness.New wolves could sometimes be vicious or intruding on the pack but Ocean would always give them the benefit of the doubt and be nice to them at first.

Ocean aw a black wolf with red markings on his face making his way towards the small group of wolves.She greeted him with a warm smile and walked forward towards him.

"Welcome to the frozen valley pack, what is your purpose here"

She gave a warm smile but also being wary of this new wolf.

Ocean scanned the black and red wolf in front of her, her Ocean blue eyes full of curiosity and wariness.There was something about this wolf that was broken, hurting almost and looking for somewhere the pain would ease.She could not help but let this wolf into her pack.

"You may join, but pull any tricks or attack anyone, you will be punished"

Ocean hated being this horrible, there was just something about this wolf she did not trust.

Hikari stayed back as Ocean talked to the other wolf. after a moment he stepped up. "If one of the old dens work i will use it. good thing im a good digger if i cant find one that fits." he then bows lightly before going off on his own to find a den but tried to stay close to the alphas scent. He knew he would be safe.

Eteniry watched as his mate confronted the male, then it seemed as though he where accepted into the pack. He casually walked over to the new wolf, "Hello." He merely said with a flick of his tail. He heard another wolf talking to Ocean, his head turned to see a black brute. Flicking his ear the timber turned back toward the new member as he awaited the wolf to answer him. He would go talk to the black coated wolf later.

Hikari stopped and turned to look towards the voice. "oh hello" he said lightly. he guessed this was the alpha male but wasnt totally sure. he lowered his head slightly but kept looking at him.

Eternity smiled slightly when he saw the wolf lower his head. Smart wolf, "So you have joined the pack eh?" The brute asked, his head tilted slightly to the side as he finished the question then it returned to normal positioning, which for him was in a higher positioning. "What is your position?" He asked for the wolves rank.

Hikari raised his head back to where it was and smiled "yes i joined and im a Malama, which sounds funny but i like it" He said with a small laugh.

Eternity smiled, "It does doesn't it?" He looked back to the newest member of the pack. "I can help you in some Malama training if you want when I come back. By the way the name's Eternity." He turned back to the blue wolf and with a nod he dismissed himself and walked over to the other wolf. "Hi." He greeted the wolf, as he awaited a reply.

"that sounds great" Hikari noticed the other wolf. "Hello and goodbye for now." he said to the wolf before looking back to Eternity "Ill let you talk to this wolf, and my name is Hikari"

Oblitus stopped digging, the wind ripped around him as he surveyed his den."Hi"
He looked up at the male that stood before him "hello,Oblitus and you are?" He wanted to get out and find ore but he would waited for the Alpha to state what he wanted.
The wind shifted and a scent filled his nose "rabbit" his mouth watered.

"My name is Eternity." He said as he observed the wolf, he could tell that Oblitus was eager to do something. "Rabbit." Eternity found himself in thought when the wolf spoke of rabbit. He sniffed the air scenting rabbit, "Yes there are many here. You can go after it if you wish." Eternity said in a soft and low tone to avoid scarring the rabbit.

" Na, I'm more interested in finding ore i have feeling there is rare ore up here, is there a specific place where it is located?" he didn't have the lay of the of the valley yet but he wanted to get to work.
